Roxan McDonald and MexChic Retreats are teaming up to offer this 7-night full-service writing retreat in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Join us to experience the city voted The World’s Best City to Visit by Travel and Leisure Magazine with a knowledgeable, bilingual tour guide and concierge. Taking a trip with MexChic Retreats is like visiting a good friend who knows everyone in town and every secret treasure to be found in the city.  

Roxan has designed the retreat schedule to offer craft talks and writing prompts in the morning, plenty of time to write and explore the city, as well as afternoon workshops to receive constructive feedback on your writing. This retreat is appropriate for beginners and experienced writers. Roxan is known for her ability to ignite your creativity, and find each writer’s strengths and expand from there.

Tuition includes accommodation in a luxury home in the heart of San Miguel de Allende, a welcome reception, one group dinner, full, traditional Mexican breakfast each morning, coffee, tea, and local pastries, VIP bilingual airport pick up (from Leon or Queretaro airports), two walking tours of the city, and a personal concierge to assist you in restaurant recommendations, reservations, and planning excursions.. MexChic Retreats will also offer guidance with flight reservations and tours to extend your trip before and after the retreat.

We will be interviewing each participant before securing your reservation to ensure that we are able to meet your needs as a traveler and writer.

Retreat Prices:

$1900 double occupancy with private bathroom

$2300 single occupancy (luxury accommodations a short walk from the main house.)

$1700 companion (Traveling with a writer but not participating in the workshops.) This includes pick-up and drop-off, breakfasts, dinner/receptions, tours and concierge service. 

$550 non-refundable deposit to secure your reservation.
